Venice is memorable for so many reasons. Its beautiful grand canals with its majestic palazzi and sparkling golden light dazzle and impress all who visit. But as a painter, some of my favorite views were the intimate ones; quiet narrow byways accented by a few well-placed flower boxes and that beautiful Venetian light spotlighting the water and architecture just so.
